Highpointe Fitness Studio Class Descriptions  (all classes are 55 minutes unless noted otherwise)

BOUNCE!: This class uses rebounders (trampolines) for a fun, "uplifting" workout. This class is part cardio and part strength training.  At times, free weights may also be used in a circuit! The endorphin rush will put a little "spring" in your step! So, "hop" to it- get to Bounce! class!!!

**Rebounding has MANY health benefits, including stimluation of the lymphatic system, a high endorphin release and is easier on the joints than traditional floor aerobics.*

Cardio/Sculpt: This workout is a combination of warm-up, cardio segment and full body strength training using hand weights, body bars, bands and your own body weight!

Fit & Fun: FUNctional aerobic and resistance training for active older adults and those new to group fitness!  This class focuses on the basic traditional aerobic and resistance moves- no fancy stuff!  More repetitive movements allow the beginner and active older adult to ease into a fitness routine for safe and effective workouts!

Morning Blend Circuit Class: Circuit training is by far the most effective training modality available.  A full body workout includes a warm up, athletic cardio sequence, and resistance training using stability balls, dumbbells, resistance bands, Body Bars, and Versa Cuffs. A cool down and abdominal work, on the end round out this great cross training workout!

Pilates with Props: Pilates is one of the best ways to connect to your inner strength while improving your balance, flexibility and core strength. Challenging workouts includes using therabands, foam rollers, stability balls and magic circles to lengthen the entire body!

R.I.P.P.E.D. Resistance, Intervals, Power, Plyometrics, Endurance and Diet/Nutrition. RIPPED (R) is a plateau-proof fitness formula that helps you create continuity, consistency and challenge in each and every class. The specific combination of these program elements and how they are precisely organized in the R.I.P.P.E.D class format provide the basis for the One Stop Body Shock System- a total body workout, which, by requiring the body to respond to the constantly changing format within the session, offers ultimate results, in minimal time. With an evident emphasis on music, you will jam through R.I.P.P.E.D with smiles, determination and strength! This athletic-based format is a time-efficient class lasting just 50-60 minutes, during which you can burn between 750 to 1,000 calories!

Yoga:  For anyone who wants to learn yoga practices.  This class introduces fundamental yoga poses with alignment and breath instruction.  Participants will build strength, increase flexibility, practice balance, improve posture and de-stress in a fun and supportive environment.

Zumba®: is a fusion of Latin and International music and dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, and effective fitness system!  The moves are easy to follow and you will have a blast burning 700-1000 calories an hour!  Ditch the Workout, Join the Party!
(This class uses “Club” lighting designed to beat with the bass sound and throw patterns around the room for the party effect!)

Zumba Toning:
When it comes to body sculpting, Zumba® Toning raises the bar (or rather, the toning stick). It combines targeted body-sculpting exercises and high-energy cardio work with Latin-infused Zumba moves to create a calorie-torching, strength-training dance fitness-party. Students learn how to use lightweight, maraca-like Toning Sticks to enhance rhythm and tone all their target zones, including arms, abs and thighs. Zumba Toning is the perfect way for enthusiasts to sculpt their bodies naturally while having a total blast.

GLO Zumba: **Exclusive to Highpointe Fitness Studio** Zumba with all the fun, high energy moves....in the dark! We use a fun black light system to create the GLO! Wear white or neon to stand out

ZumbAtomic® Lil' Starz: Your kids will love the ZumbAtomic fitness program. It is a fast-forward fusion of the Zumba program's moves like Hip Hop, Reggaeton, Cumbia, Salsa and more! The workouts are designed to allow kids ages 5-8 to max-out on fun fitness and dance! Safe and effective, kids can't wait to get into the ZumbAtomic groove! WATCH THEIR ENERGY SOAR!

ZumbAtomic® Big Starz: Your kids will love the ZumbAtomic fitness program. It is a fast-forward fusion of the Zumba program's moves like Hip Hop, Reggaeton, Cumbia, Salsa and more!
